Although there isn’t much variability in the overall color of the sun, it is still useful to make slight adjustments to the overall color saturation by leveraging PixInsight Curves Transformation.
Color Saturation
PixInsight Curves Transformation provides an easy approach to modify the color saturation. Gently increase the saturation (S channel).
The saturation is minor so you can apply it multiple times until you find the perfect spot for your image.
Find a level that is pleasing. In this example, the second or third level appeared adequate while the fourth looked over saturated. Again, this is a personal preference.
